COVID cannot stop this party
Ah, the year we finally returned to normal camp life—if you can call anything about Camp Fiesta “normal.” We had a fresh batch of campers who bravely passed the sacred “smell the ice cream at Jaxson’s” initiation, and former campers who returned as counselors—suddenly in charge and mildly panicked. We discovered a new love for canoeing (mostly crashing), took painting class way too seriously, and, of course, hit Disney and Universal like theme park pros. We even buried our tiniest camper in the sand—for fun, not forever. It was chaotic, hilarious, and exactly the kind of summer we’d been waiting for.
